I have a Pegasus R6 that's throwing an error whenever I try to copy video content from the RAID to any computer.

The error text is as follows (on my MacBook Pro):

"The Finder can't complete the operation because some data in "filename.mov" can't be read or written. (Error code -36)"

This only occurs on one specific folder in the drive, but the rest of the drive is accessible and usable. The same error also occurs on multiple Macs, so it's not specific to one computer. There is also a warning on the physical drive in the Promise Utility Dashboard that says, "One of more physical drives are critical or rebuilding", but when I click on the physical drive to see more detail, there are no errors showing. I'm not sure if this is related to the problem or not. There are no warnings lights on the the front of the RAID - all lights are blue.

Has anyone seen this? I really need to be able to access this content, if nothing else than to move it to a new Pegasus RAID. Any suggestions??

Hi Bernie,

Could you please rename the specific file without any special characters in the name to see how it work. If you still have problems, kindly go to https://support.promsie.com to register the unit and to create a support ticket for further investigation.
