About 2 weeks ago my Pegasus R6 started disappearing from the list of mounted drives. It also doesn't show up in Disk Utility at all. I have to unplug the power cord and plug it back in for it to show up.

Any ideas what I can do to troubleshoot? Thanks

A drive just failed completely. That must have been triggering the disconnect, but upon power-cycling the drive came back as healthy and I never saw the failure before.

I'm replacing the drive, but is there a way in the logs to determine which drive was failing? Since I never saw the failure, I never knew which slot might have been causing the issue.

Hi Eric,

In order to find the exact problem please send us the latest subsystem report.

Steps to save the subsystem report :

- Open Promise Utility

- Click subsystem information icon on the top of the window

- Click the lock symbol on the left bottom corner of the screen to unlock the utility

- Click on save service report button to save the subsystem report.

Open a case at https://support.promise.com/ and attach the file for our review.

Thanks !

Will do. Right now it appears to be working. I'll run a report next time it happens.
