I have a Pegasus R6 Raid 5 configuration - six 4TB drives - that was used for Time Machine backup on a different mac. I'd like to wipe all files, regain the 16TB of space and repurpose for regular file storage use. Is there a way to delete all the backup files (12TB), using Promise Utility?

Hi David,

The simplest way to do this is to initialize the LUN.

First start the CLI by opening a terminal and typing...

Assuming the default configutation the init command will be,,,

init -a start -l 0 -q 1024

After this you'll need to open the macos Disk Utility and format the LUN.
