What I've got:
Pegasus R6 12TB (rev A2) running on 5.04.0000.57
Mac Mini 2 Ghz i7 / 8GB RAM running on 10.11.5
Mini is Running OS Server latest addition (5.1.5)
I'm using the Mini and Pegasus as small office server that connects about 5-10 users (all macs) at any time dealing with small file types (no rich media)
What My Problem is:
I can go about half a day before the Server isn't reachable for all users. I can't connect, but I am able to screen share into the server and attempt a restart. The restart never works, forcing me to go back to server room and hold down power button for hard reset.
Upon turning the computer back on, the partitions on the Pegasus Drive are never recognzied. So I have to power dwon computer again, then completely unplug the pegasus from power and then replug pegasus back in and then turn mac mini back on.
Frustrating for sure when this can happen 2-3 times a day.
None of this ever happened and I had pretty good up time for a while until I downloaded the latest OSX and OSX Server (10.11.5 and 5.1.5).
Solutions?
The pegasus warranty is beyond old, so I came the forusm to see if anyone else is having similar issues?
Or Can anyone push me to the right direction for what I should be looking at/for to get to the bottom of what exactly it is cusing this?
