Hi, my Pegasus 3 R6 was working fine on my Macbook Pro M1 Max, running Monterey 12.1.  The drive was wiped clean, and was working fine. I saw, however, that it needed a firmware update, and upon doing so, the drive would no longer initialize.  I can see in Disk Utility, and the Promise Utility app sees it fine, but it just won't initialize.  How can I solve this?  Thanks.

Hello Paul,

If you do not have any data then you can delete and recreate the array using Promise Utility.

If you need the data then try any file system recovery software to repair the file system.

Gautham, thank you for such a quick response.  This appears to have worked!  I didn't realize that rebuilding it was all that was needed.  I don't think I will try doing another firmware update in the future.  Cheers mate!
