Hi, I had a drive go bad in my Pegasus2 R8 and replaced the drive and began to rebuild. No progress bar ever showed up and the new drive is fast flashing orange. I'm in about hour 36 and it looks like nothing is happening but it does say Critical, Rebuilding under the Operationsl Status of the Logical Drive. I am wondering if there is something wrong with the replacement drive and if I can put a different one in and try again. The new drive doesn't show up in the list of physical drives (it did before I began to rebuild).

Hi Jason,
I can't see the status of disk #7, other than 'Not present, not useable':
Apparently the disk was lost at the start of the rebuild:
I would advise to shut down your system, remove disk #7, check the inside for any dust on or near the connector in the backplane and clean if necessary, then reboot the unit without disk #7.
Once booted up, mount a new HDD in the tray and insert it in slot #7 and check if the rebuild can now start normally.

Thank you for the help. I used a different disk and was able to successfully rebuild the RAID. I appreciate your assistance!
