Rebooted apple server because people couldn't get on. The Pegasus 2 RAID doesn't show up on the desktop. The light is amber. OS X is El Capitan. Latest firmware and software on the promise utility.
Pegasus 2 won't shut down when I hole the amber button down (after I've shut off the connecting computer).
Changed the thunderbolt cable to a new one.
Should I hard shut down the Pegasus by pulling the plug?

In order to find the exact problem , please follow the below steps and send us the service report
- Shutdown the pegasus ( If the power button doesnot work, then Unplugging the power is the only option)
- Mark and Remove all the drives from the unit
- Turn ON the unit without the drives
- Open Promise Utility
- Click subsystem information icon on the top of the window
- Click the lock symbol on the left bottom corner of the screen to unlock the utility
- Click on save service report button to save the subsystem report and attach it .
We will check the report and let you know if there are any issues.

I'm trying to send the report but when I do, it says something like "extension not allowed." So I copied the html file to a txt file and got the same message. What to do?

Please visit support.promise.com and register yourself as an user. Once done , kindly register your product and open an web case. You will be able to attach the saved report to the webcase.
Once that is submitted , we will review it and reply to the case.
