Pegasus 1 or 2 compatible HDD (2TB)?

I am needing to replace a 2TB HDD in both a Pegasus 1 and Pegasus 2 R6 units. I realize the P1 is no longer supported, however, the recommended 2TB HDD for the P2 (Toshiba DT01ACA200) is no longer available. At least not in Australia.

So, what other 2TB HDD will work?

Thank you.
Rob

I've not care much about which drives I've put in my Promise 1 R6. Just bought whatever standard drives. I got a mix of Samsung, Toshiba and Seagate in mine. Once, I didn't have a spare 2TB drive (like the rest in my R6), so I tried with a 3TB I had laying anyway, and the Promise accepted it fine with my 2TB drives - just as a 2TB ofcourse.

Thanks for nothing Promise Tech. Support? What Support? Clearly, you do not value your customers.

Yeah the promise guys are not going to tell you if other drives work.

All I can tell you is I am in the same situation myself, I am told the

BarraCuda 2TB ST2000DM008

Will work, I am about to try this drive myself to see if it does and build the Raid 5 array again.

if it works I will let you know.
