Peasus 2 M4 Synchronizing for over 2 hours

I setup my P2 M4 as Raid5 with one hot spare.

4 Samsung SSD 840s. Slots 1-3 are in Array0, with Slot 4 has a global spare

I created a raid 5 logical volume and it has been synching for 3+ hours. Is that normal?

Hi Wayne,

Yes its a normal process that synchronization will take 10 to 12 hours to complete the process.

Thanks. It did take about 10 hours - finished at 3AM.
