OSX Security-Patch 2016-003 blocks R6

Last week, just when the Security patch was available, I accidently installed it.

The R6 is attached to a MacPro.

What happened was, that the MacPro refused to start from the R6. It was perfect available as attached Storage but no way to boot from. The R6 has the latest firmware 5.04.0000.57

Did anyone had the same issue?

Is Promise aware of the problem?

Promise support told me, they are working on this EFI/10.12.2-issue
