New HD not being added to the array

I had to replace a failed HD in my Pegasus 2R8 unit. It was the same make and type of the other HD in the array.

However, it is not been added to the array, and come up on the desktop, as a separate disk. Have run all the checks and the HD is OK. The following are not turned ON, Media Patrol, Initialization,& Migration. 

I have a lot of data on the array and can not afford to lose it, so any solution as to be that I do not lose this dater. I am running Mac OS 10.14.3.

What is the solution?

Hi George,

-What is the new drive status at physical drive tab of Promise utility, whether it's marked as Passthru or Unconfigured?

-If it's marked as Pasthru, then unlock the utility,click setting on that drive and mark as unconfigured. Then you will be able to start rebuild.

If still have an issue, then kindly get the subsystem report and create a web support case id at support.promise.com where you can attach the report.

Steps to save the subsystem report:

 

- Open promise utility

- Click subsystem information icon on the top of the Promise Utility window

- Click the lock symbol on the left bottom corner of the screen to unlock the utility

- Click on save service report button to save the subsystem report and attach it to this case.
