Problems started with code -36 and code -50 errors while trying to transfer files. iMac (late 2013) started behaving erratic, sluggish. Tried all the typical mac fixes (repair permissions, reset nvram etc). Decided to upgrade to High Sierra to see if that would help. Still issues with sluggish system so started removing connected devices, machine woke right up once the Peg2 disconnected. Updated Promise utility and then updated firmware. Now Promise utility hangs...tried removing and reinstalling. Might connect once, then stops working. Finder sees the Peg2 but can't see the subdirectories. Try rebooting the mac but won't shut off...until I unplug the Peg2 again. So, no acces to 20K photos or music library...connecting the Peg2 causes problems. What can I do?

Hi Randy,

It looks like this issue needs to be analyzed with the help of subsystem report of the unit to find out the exact issue. You can call technical support at 408-228-1500 or reach out through support case at  https://support.promise.com/.

Steps to save the subsystem report :

- Open Promise Utility
- Click subsystem information icon on the top of the window
- Click the lock symbol on the left bottom corner of the screen to unlock the utility
- Click on save service report button to save the subsystem report.

Thanks for the reply. I'll do my best to get the report tonight but as indicated, Promise Utility seems to have an issue connecting  to the Peg2. Either way, I'll log a case. Thanks.
