I have got 20 rentals movies and 100 purchased movies from iTunes, and some of them I store on my hard disk. It is illegal to convert M4V to MP4, HOWEVER, if you just for personal use, it is OK! Maybe you need to need a converter to have a try! Here is I am highly recommended TuneFab M4V Converter, which you can not only convert M4V into MP4 but also you can set your own subtitles and audio tracks.
