With the new Macbook Pro M1 Max and seeing more issues with Pegasus2 i wonder if I bought the Pegasus32 ..
Can I simply move the hard drives over to the new chassy ?

I can not get the Pegasus2 R4 to work even after following all the steps:

 • Boot security adjusted
 • Confirmed kext present

Issues:
 • Promise Utility - No window, no connectivity
 • R4 toggles and clicks between orange and blue lights

Hi Mark,

Can I simply move the hard drives over to the new chassy ?

Yes.

I can not get the Pegasus2 R4 to work even after following all the steps:

I have a Pegasus 2 R6 connected to an M1 Mac Mini (the original) running Monterey with no issues. No driver load issues either.

I've also connected a Pegasus 1 with no issues.

Please use the Pegasus 32 Promise Utility, it is updated for the new OS and backwards compatible. There is also a new Pegasus Pro Utility, you can give it a try and see if it helps.

Update:
I was able to get it working but only after mac os update to 12.0.1

This includes the less secure boot change and the drivers.

I wish the 32 R4 chassy was for sale without drives. I think the Thunderbolt3/ USBC would work well for me.

Thanks R P
