Hi!
We have a ESXi 5.0 host up and running with the SuperTrak EX16650 controller today. We installed the drivers using the package "scsi-stex-4.07.0000.75-1OEM.500.0.0.472560.x86_64.vib" from the promise website and it seems to be working as intended.
The challenge is that we cannot see the RAID controllers state, aka we do not know the RAID status.
So my questions are:
Is it possible to query the host somehow to get the controller state?
Could one possible solution be to enable passthrough on the controller and install the monitor-utilities on a linux guest?
Any insights on this matter would be of great value, as we obviously would need to know our disks health.
