Migrating Pegasus 1 R6 to bigger array

My original R6 is still working fine and I see no need to change. It is however out of space (Raid5, 12TB, 10TB available, single logical volume). It's however not clear from the documentation whether, if I progressively replace all the drives with (say) 6TB drives, rebuilding each as I go, whether I can then expand the whole array to use the available space. Advice here, please?

Also be advised that the Pegasus 1 was not tested with todays very large drives, so they may or may not work. The compatibility list will show the largest drives tested. And posters in this forum have posted which drives they tested and whether they worked, browsing the Pegasus 1 forum might give some guidance.

Hi Richard,

You cannot replace the drives one by one to increase the capacity. All the drives have to replaced at once to create larger array.

Thanks - that's just what I was looking for (my NAS will do it automatically, so I was hoping there was something similar possible here)
