Hello

sorry, i received my r4 unit today but no thunderbolt cable, i probe to mount for firts time in a Mac Pro tube and use a extra thunderbolt cable from my New monitor Dell up2715k, install utility for mac from promise web, but no detect nothing, not mount on Finder, and nothing in disk utility.

is rarely but only have a info, last user format the 4 disk with a mac

operation when start up Mac Pro or down, no reaction automatically in the R4

Never have light on the lightning, I suspect more than anything an incompatibility of the monitor cable dell, but after all is the cable that is used for compatibility 4k, monitor working now with double cable thunderbolt in 5k.

I'm not sure if it's a bad placement of the cable position on the 6 th pro's thunderbolt inputs. I mean the positions, although sometimes it seems that the thunderbolt cables stay half-way.

As an add-on I am a user of mac os sierra 10.12.2

thank you very much

Pegasus 2R4 was working fine on all my Macs running Sierra 10.12.2 before I update for 10.12.3

Now, drive does not mount anymore, and can't even been accessed with Promise Utility

But still on line with System Info/Hardware/Thunderbolt

Hi Philippe,

Please follow the below steps to see if you are not able to mount the unit.

- Could you please turn off the Pegasus unit and your computer.
- Remove the thunderbolt cable from the Pegasus unit and the computer and wait for 30 seconds.
- Mark and remove all the drives from the unit.
- Reconnect the cable back to the unit and to the computer.
- Turn on the Pegasus unit without the drives and turn on your computer.
- Please open Promise Utility and see if the utility is able to see the unit. If you are able to access the unit without the drives then save the subsystem report without the drives then insert the drives one by one to its respective slots to see if the volume is mounted.

Once the report is created, please go to https://support.promise.com and create a support ticket with the latest subsystem report for further investigation.

If you still have trouble accessing the unit through the utility without the drive, then you can try connecting with the second thunderbolt port on the unit, a different cable and a different computer to see how it works.

Nonsense! The Pegasus2 is not fully compatible with MacOS Sierra! Starting up from bootable RAID is not supported anymore! Unless you have a older Mac then there's a fix! But not for the newer Macs!!! (late 2015 models and newer!!!)
