I just updated my iMac (mid '14) to MacOS 10.14.1 and after reboot and after updating the Promise Mac drivers I do not see my mounted Promise Pegasus 2 R8 any more and Promise Utility starts, I see it topbar, but can't make it to show it's UI ...

What to do?!

Hi Chris,

May I know the unit and drive light status? Please open a case at http://support.promise.com or call us at (408) 228-1500 to troubleshoot the issue.

Hi Chris,

Please move the current version of the Utility to trash and install it from the below link.

https://promise.com/DownloadFile.aspx?DownloadFileUID=4948

Try to save the service report from the Utility and open a case @ http://support.promise.com for further investigation.

Hi Raghuraman Kannan,

I do have a case on this problem (20181108011749S).

I tried your instruction, but unfortunately no change.

And the Pegasus is not mounted and the Promise Utlility does not show UI.

Got a strange idea. What I did and what worked:

1. switch computer off

2. switch Promise Pegasus off

3. remove thunderbolt cable between Promise and iMac

4. switch computer on

5. switch Promise on

6. connect thunderbolt cable to Promise and iMac

Promise is mounted and Promise Utility starts normally...
