Hi there, I recently bought a 1TB versjon of the M4 and bought 4 x 4TB SSD disks that are quite pricy, but I wanted a portable small, but large in space disk drive for my movie storage and production. I am using OSX 10.12. This solution seems to be working fine, expept that I am getting very slow read and write speeds through the thunderbolt cable.. Using the BlackMagicDesign Speed test I get around 400 MB/s Read/Write speed.. that seems very slow to me.. I would expect much faster speeds. I am using a Raid 5 setup for the disks so 16TB is reduced to 12TB storage. Is this due to the not supported TRIM function of Macs? Can anyone shed any light on this issue for me please? Anything I have missed?
