I am using Pagesus 3 as my backup storage.
So it will not always on all the time. Is it possible to keep Pegasus3 on without connecting to a laptop/PC?
I want my Pegasus3 to finish synchronization ASAP without my laptop since I need it during day time.

Its not possible to power on the unit with out connecting Mac or PC, When you disconnect the thunderbolt cable pegasus 3 it will shutdown automatically and disconnect So its mandatory to keep host pc to connected

If the behavior is defined like normal USB storage drive, why do I need to manually power off after safe remove storage device?
Is it safe to unplug cable directly after safe remove storage device on Windows? Or I have to manually power off before unplug?
