No, they are not compatible...

Yes I read it, thank you.  If I buy this used unit I will just end up plugging it into the other SAS port on the controller card and not chain it off of the 1840.

Hi Mike,

You are right, We have different Jbod setup for Vessraid unit. Please purchase the compatible Jbod for Vessraid unit.
