Hi,

I'd like to use iSCSI CHAP for Vess R2600i but no luck. Windows fails to authenticate even when I copy paste the password, so there can't be any typos.

Only thing that I can think of is that the R2600i is using CHAPv1 which has been deprecated by MS long time a go.

Box info:

Any ideas or suggestions to how to resolve this?

Hi,

Yeah, the problem is not with setting up the CHAP on the box side.. problem is, windows has trouble authenticatig againts it. I've tried to play around with all the settings more than many times but no luck.

Is it using CHAPv1?

I'm guessing even Promise techs have no ideas? :)

Uh-Oh. Need to register yet again and wait for someone to manually activate the account? :D what is this 1995?

Why does everything need to be a hurdle with Promise.
