I have NS4600 with four 1TB HDDs set up in RAID10 (Striping with mirroring) configuration. Is it possible to increase its capacity by replacing these 1TB drivers with larger ones? If yes, what is the largest drive size that it supports? Will i have problems with very large drives (does NS4600 use GPT? What kind of filesystem does it use)?

Please go to the Promise Download Center:

Select the Legacy Products button, and use the dropdowns to select your product.
Note that there is a Compatibilty List and Firmware available.
Firmware V02.01.0000.18 provides support for 3TB drives.
Read and follow the instructions carefully!

If your idea is to replace the 1TB drive with a larger drive, let it rebuild on the larger drive, then do the same with the rest of the drives, it will not work. The NS4600 will not see the extra space in the new drives. I have actually tested this on an NS4300 after a 750GB drive failed and I replaced it with a 1TB drive. I rebuilt the other 3 drives with 1TB drives afterwards. The extra 250GB was not seen and I could not expand the array into the extra space.
To use the larger drives you'll have to offload the data, replace the drives and make a new R10, then copy the data back in.
Sorry.
