somebody can help me how to use the ns4600
i just asked by my bos to handle this...device used by somebody before.....i already on it n install smartnavi ..i found on website that told me manage by this software but once i start the smartnavi how the device connect to the smartnavi? the device is already have an ip address
i am beginner...need some help...or somebody can give me product support number...i am from kuala lumpur malaysia hope have one support centre located here

Hi Ron,

The NS4600 is network attached storage, so you need to connect to it through the network port, which you do not have plugged in. The USB ports are for importing data from USB drives, but you cannot connect to the NS4600 through the USB port.

You need to connect the ethernet port to a network with DHCP (all home routers have DHCP), then you can use the SmartNAVI application to connect to the NS4600 where you can configure the storage. It is common to add 4 disks then create a RAID5 LUN.
