Hi All,

I'm trying to find the right combination to allow a Pegasus 1 R6 Thunderbolt 2 chassis to attach to a Win 10 PC, preferably without having to reformat it.

Has anyone found a Thunderbolt 2 to USB x cable or adapter that works? Is this even possible?

I tried an Asus thunderbolt 2 PCI card but no luck with that. Wouldn't mount, tools couldn't find it, etc.

I should also add that this has been running for years connected to an iMac which I recently retired. It also connects to my MBP no prob - but my workstation these days is a PC, so.....

Thanks for the insight.

Dan

The only way to not format the Pegasus that is formatted HFS+, is by using a third-party HFS+ driver for Windows. Paragon makes a driver for Windows to allow Apple's HFS+ formatted volumes to be mounted. I do not recommend this, and we don't test HFS+ on Windows using any third-party HFS+ drivers. You can always try and test Paragon's driver at your own risk. You may want to consider formatting your LD (Logical Drive) with NTFS (New Technology File System = Windows' native filesystem).

No, you will need a motherboard that supports Thunderbolt's architecture.
