Help ! Unable to install the Utility for Pegasus 2 R4 on mac 10.11.6 (el capitan)

hi,

everything is in the title - the latest installer of the Promise Utility (320000015) stop with an "error when installing - contact the editor" alert...

and of course I need this utility to change my RAID config and everything else.

I'm running mac 10.11.6, and even with the SIP desabled I found no way to install it.

The R4 was never used with other mac, it's a new mac with 10.11.6

I have no way to upgrade the firmware (if it is something to do ?) as I cannot open the .img file

Hi Alain,

Pegasus2 and Promise Utility support Mac OSX 10.11.x for long time without installation nor compatibility problem.

I suggest you to report this particular problem to Promise Tech Support team directly. Give them a call, provide detail of your system info and Pegasus2 info. Find the phone numbers in Promise website. TS can help you to resolve the problem promptly.
