Firmware Upgrade doesn't take on Pegasus2 R8

When I go to updates in the Promise Utility, it says there is a firmware upgrade version 5.04.0000.57 that needs to be applied. I run it, reboot the Mac (Mac Pro 2013, also running server) and then if I go to updates it shows that I need to run the same firmware upgrade. Thoughts?

Hi,

Could you please confirm the current version of firmware that is running on your unit?

If the unit is running with an older version of firwmare that we may have to update the firmware incrementally.

You can update through Terminal if you have Promise Utility installed. This forum topic has already been answered in this thread.

The version on it is 5.04.0000.36. Tonight (it is a server everyone is depending on during the day) I'll try to do it via terminal as mentioned.

A final report. Even though the utility said it was the latest one, it wasn't. And the earlier one had disabled promiseutil to run in terminal. So I manually update the utility and then promiseutil worked as mentioned above. (The regular one might've worked too but I opted for the one that was more sure to work.) Thanks everyone for your help.
