Hi all,

I've had a bad firmware update that ran into the Pegasus 3 R6 turning Orange. It's not visible from Promise Utility anymore, still visible on Thunderbolt bus.

How do you solve it (case has been opened) ?

History :

- unpack array,
- upgrade Utility to latest version (4.02.0000.10 (C01))
- firmware upgrade from Utility NEVER finishes
- firmware upgrade from CLI fails, see below.
- Array is not visible anymore.

Host : MB Pro Retina with High Sierra.

No solution yet, which is why I was asking for any idea...

The unit simply won't show in promiseutil (GUI or CLI), despite being connected and visible through Thunderbolt...

Have a similar problem. Tried to update firmware on my promise pegasus3 r6 and it failed at 50% now I have no contact to the raid and can not retry. It’s not possible to open a case because it’s not covered by warranty anymore. I’m considering buying a promise32, but the risk of this happening again is holding me back. Is possible to connect it somehow and upgrade firmware or is it dead?
