I have tried every possible input possibe without success.  I don't have my own Email Server and it is asking for an IP address.  Is it possible to set up a consumer email account such as Apple iCloud?  If so, some specific instructions would be helpful.

Thanks...

Hi Frank,

Kindly follow the below steps to configure your email settings on your Pegasus unit.

1. Make sure the unit is running with the latest firmware.

2. Also, you need to have an internal mail server (Intranet) for this feature to work and currently it won't work with email server which is hosted by public domain like Gmail, Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail and etc.

To configure email,

- Click on promise utility->Preferences & there you can enable email notifications.
- Make sure to use lower case to input all your email setup.

  1. Enable SMTP 2. Enter SMTP Authentication username: example@example.net 3. SMTP Authentication Password: Password 4. Email sender Address: example@example.net 5. Email receiver's Address: example@example.net 6. Email sever Address: secureserver@example.com 7. SMTP PORT: 25                   8. Email subject: Event notification

Once you performed the steps please let us know the status.
