Email Notification Service - Not Working

hi there, actually the notification doenst work.

system mac os 10.11.6
promise utility: Version 3.20.0000.15 (C03)
firmware: Version 3.20.0000.15 (C03)

email wont be sent nor received.
we checked mailbox, no spam, no authentication error much help apprieciated
we feel more secure if we would get warning messages

actually we cant upload txt,rtf, zip file extension not allowed :(
and we neither cant post alway content string alert maximum 10000 ...

1. Was it working before ?

2. What is the firmware currently running in the unit ?

3. Is there any recent changes happen to the unit ?

Hi Platzhalter,

Pegasus email settings have a max length limitation of every input field.

SMTP Authentication Username: 63 bytes

SMTP Authentication Password: 31 byte

Email Sender(From) Address: 47 bytes

Receiver’s Email Address: 47 bytes

Email Server: 45 bytes

SMTP server Port: 5 bytes

Email Subject: 31 bytes

1 byte means 1 character.

Try shorten your input characters and see the result.
