Hi guys,

Do you guys know if you can setup an email notification on Promise Utility?

There's nothing I could find on the Manual.

I went to Promise Utility menu > Preferences > Email

That's the only place to setup email.

I entered all the information, and click Test Email, it's even said "Test email was sent to the designated address".

But no email came through.

Please help

Please Make sure the unit is running with latest Utility 3.20.0000.15 and firmware version 5.04.0000.57

- Click on promise utility->Preferences & there you can enable email notifications.

- Make sure you use lower case when inputting email configuration.

1) Enable ESMTP

2)Enter SMTP Authentication username: example@example.net

3) SMTP Authentication Password : Password

4) Email sender Address                 :example@example.net

5) Email receiver's Address            :example@example.net

6) Email sever Address                   :secureserver@example.com

7) SMTP PORT "                                :25

8) Email subject                                :Event notification

9) Level                                             : Minor (Default is Minor but you may receive many notifications from Pegasus)

Once you setup correctly please press "Test Email" and check.

Note: In case if it is not working when trying with Gmail or any 3rd party email server then it could be the Email Server secure blocking. Please try to lower the security blocking and check.
