Drives from Older Pegasus R2 RAID enclosure in a newer Promise P3WBR4 enclosure

I'm looking at a newer Promise P3WBR4  4 Bay Diskless  Thunderbolt3 RAID available now. What would happen if one transplanted drives from an older Pegasus R2 Thunderbolt 2 RAID enclosure to this new enclosure? 

The data is old and not very important. 

But would the data be readable in this new enclosure or would one need to format the drives and treat this set as a new set?

P.S. This new unit has a part code F29PWR420000000

Hi Neil,

You can move the RAID set from one Pegasus 1/2/3/32 to another Pegasus 1/2/3/32 and the Volume should mount unless there other issues.

Please make sure both Pegasus units are powered off, the best way is to remove the power cable from both units. Then move the drives across and put them in the same slots.
