Do I need a driver for Pegasus 2 to work with macOS Sonoma?

The Pegasus 2 drive works with my iMac and Macbook Pro (when I put an Thunderbolt 2-3 adapter on the thunderbolt cable).

But it isn't working when I plug that same Thunderbolt cable and adapter into my Mac Studio running macOS Sonoma.

Any thoughts? Do I need a new driver?

With Intel macOS Sonoma, no driver will be needed.

With M1 macOS Sonoma, use this driver.
