Pegasus r4, Raid 5, 4x 1 To osX ElCaptain, imac 27" mid 2011

Today one of my drive status has been set to PFA ; the Raid system status was set to critical. I decided to change it and rebuild with a brand new hard drive.
Unfortunately during the rebuild, I accidentaly started a system update on my mac. ( you know, being tired, missed the discard button).
after 2-3 hours the raid system has been rebuilt , but no data in it : it.s just like new, and empty.
Is there a chance to recover the apparently lost datas 2,7 Go ,or should I consider those are definitively evaporate ?
