Hi, could you explain better the differences between a normal folder and the sync folder? Perhaps the sync folder only serves if multiple users are using it at the same time? What are the drawbacks if I upload all my data to the sync folder?

Sorry for the banality of the questions but, as you will have understood, I am a beginner.

Thank you

Diego

Hi Diago,

The normal folder you have to manually move files from your computer to a specific folder on your Apollo unit. The  sync folder will automatically back up files from one folder on your computer to the Apollo sync folder.

Thanks a lot Pradeep. On my PC I can see the general folder of Apollo, and the files in this folder are in Apollo's disk. It's corret? While the files that I put in the sync folder remain on my PC but are also saved in the sync folder. It's correct?

But if I drag a folder from my PC to the sync folder then I do not see it anymore on my pc. I have moved many folders to the sync folder but I noticed that the memory occupied in the storage disk of my pc has not decreased. Does this mean that the files are still present on the storage disk of my PC even if I do not see the folders anymore? Where are these files?
