Hi Sante,

Apollo can be used a external drive but it should be connected to internet always. For testing purpose, you can directly add a photo by clicking "add" in the utility and select a random photo. It'll be uploaded in a minute. When you upload it in a folder that is not "synced", you can delete the photo from you MacBook and access the same photo from your mobile phone or another device through Apollo.

Apollo is not a NAS unit. It is a Shared cloud device.  It has a limit of 30 users.

Karthik

Hi Sante,

A minor clarification, the original Apollo supports 10 users.

The new Apollo Cloud 2 Duo supports 30 users.
