I am in the process of migration my R4 drive from a RAID 5  over to RAID 0. It's been going for 12 hours so far and has only done 5%. Can I shut down the computer (and will the drive keep working on this task) or do I need to leave the computer on until it's finished? At this rate it will be about 10 days.

Hi Randy,

Please do not shutdown the computer or Pegasus unit until the migration process is completed.

Thank you.

Thanks. The process has finished now but the capacity of the drive hasn't increased. If I go to OSX disc utility, it says it has but if I click on the info on the drive itself, it says it hasn't. Have a I missed a stage in increasing the capacity. I've done this before with an identical drive and didn't have any problems increasing the size but it was some time ago so I can't remember what I did.

HI Randy,

With the screenshot, I could see that there is free space on the unit. Could you please follow the below steps to download the complete subsystem report and go to https://support.promise.com and create a web support ticket for further assistance.

Follow the below step to save the subsystem report for further investigation.
- Open Promise Utility.
- Click subsystem information icon on the top of the window.
- Click the lock symbol on the left bottom corner of the screen to unlock the utility.
- Click on save service report button to save the subsystem report.   Regards Pradeep C
