Promise Pegasus2 Thunderbolt RAID: I have a 4 bay Pegassu2 and just replaced 2 drives. Set them up for RAID 1 and synchronization is now occurring. Slowly. Can I restart my Mac while this is happening? Will the process pick up where it left off?

Hi Carol,

I recommend you to wait till the synchronization get completed. It will take few hours to complete the process and you can see the progress in  "Background Activities".Please don't restart the Mac while synchronization is in progress.

Thank you. Synchonization completed. It took 24 hours. Others talk about seeing a % completion of synchronization so they know how far they've come in the process. Where might that information be found during sync?
