I bought this empty Pegasus R6 enclosure a few days ago at Afuture's webshop in the Netherlands (see picture above). I did not know it was empty as it was not depicted like this. Is it possible to use HDD's without the original drive carriers and if so, which brands and how would one insert them? Thanks in advance

Hi,

You will not be able to seat the drives without the drive carriers in the Pegasus units. Please purchase the drive trays from Promise Sales Or Online and use the below link to download the compatibility list to check the compatible drives.

Hi Dinesh,

I purchased this device from Afuture. Their website shows it like this: https://www.afuture.nl/product/4480173/promise-technology-pegasus-r6. I'd expect it to come with the trays. However, the drive trays did not come with it, as can be seen from the picture in my first message.

As it is now, I am stuck with a device I can't use. Could someone of Promise Technology contact them and get them to deliver me the six drive trays? That would be a big help for me!

Hi G van den Berg,

Sorry that we will not be able to contact the Resellers on this issue and we request you to contact Afuture nl with the invoice/PO copy to get the drives with drive carriers.

Regards,
