My apologies if this is a stupid question but I am not a Mac person. Last year our office became a Windows house (long story) and while doing some digital clean up I came across 2 legacy R6's. (16 TB each). After we pull the data off of them via one of the old Macs (that data is going in the cloud), is there a way to be able to use them as external drives to our windows server or is it not with the effort? If so, does anyone make a firewire to USB A 3.0 adaptor or hub?
Thanks.
Can an RG be used on windows platform

Hi Randy,
You can use the Pegasus R6 with your Windows machine if they have the Inbuilt Thunderbolt ports .
You can use the below list to know the windows Motherboards that we have tested .
https://promise.com/DownloadFile.aspx?DownloadFileUID=4127
You can also use external Thudnerbolt card to connect the Pegasus with your Windows machine .
Note : Some of the external Thunderbolt cards might not work as we have not tested them.
