Are Promise Pegasus2 R8 Bays SATA II or SATA III?

Unable to find the information anywhere... Looking to populate my R8 with with SSDs

Hello James,

Please find below the compatibility list for all drives that have been tested exclusively with HDDs. These drives are SATA III.

I know the disks are SATA III but in the manual it says it only supports 3Gb/s SATA. So i wonder is this a misprint or does it only support SATA II or can it do SATA III

Hi,

As you probably know...

SATA I = 1.5 Gbs

SATA II = 3 Gbs

SATA III = 6 Gbs

From the Pegasus2 in the lab.
