I'm wondering if the individual modules within a Pegasus2 R6 are going to be compatible with a Pegasus3 R6. Put differently, if I buy one of these:

...will it be usable in a Pegasus2 OR a Pegasus3 box? I undersand the HDD may be different, but I'm specifically interested in if the Module/Mount is the same for both.

Hi Rick,
We are sorry to inform you that you cannot daisy chain Pegasus2 unit to a Pegasus3 unit as the ports and the cables are different for both the units. We support Thunderbolt3 to a thunderbolt2 port on a host machine. However, it is not possible to daisy chain a Pegasus2 unit to a Pegasus3 unit.

Hi Rick,
If you are talking the compatible of "drive + carrier" mounting in Pegasus2 verse Pegasus3, the answer is YES.
The drive + carrier are used in Pegasus2 can also be mounted in Pegasus3. Their mechanical and backplane slots size are identical design.
