Hello,

does anyone have this kernel panic problem when using R8 with iMac Pro(10.13.3 High Sierra)?

I've set new machines but when accessing RAID, iMac Pro suddenly rebooted.

after rebooting, there is problem submit chance with callstack.

at first, i thought it would occured in heavy IO condition but with light work on RAID(XCode file indexing?) it also crashed.

am i just alone or is any body there?

Hi Sungyong,

Please make sure you have installed the dirvers for High Sierra. If no you can try to uninstall and re install the latest version of drivers to check.

https://promise.com/DownloadFile.aspx?DownloadFileUID=4535

If you still have issues after installing the latest drivers, please create a support ticket with the latest subsystem report, MAC system profiler and the panic logs for further investigation.

Follow the below step to save the subsystem report for further investigation.

- Open Promise Utility.

- Click subsystem information icon on the top of the window.

- Click the lock symbol in the left bottom corner of the screen to unlock the utility.

- Click on save service report button to save the subsystem report.

Below steps to save the MAC system profiler:

Mac system profiler (Click Apple Icon > About this Mac >  System Report > Choose 'File' & 'Save')

Go to the link below to get the step by step instruction on how to save the panic logs.

Thanks..

Thank you, i've reinstall macOS via Internet Recovery and installed the driver with provided link.

after reboot(installing procedure), system suddenly crashed  and rebooted again... ;(

(at this time, i didn't connect Pegasus3 yet, just installed the driver without connecting it)

however, i connected Pegasus and am fully stressing it(currenlty system up 3 hours) and currently facing no problems.

i'll update after further testing it.

thank you for your helps.
