Hello Guys.

I Have this problem:

My Pegasus R4 4T loaded 4x1TB Hard Drives had a drive failure on a second hard drive.

I just change the bad Hard Drive and rebuild using Promisse Utility software like the user manual says. But the Disk Array do not mount anymore. (I aready did this in the past, in other cenary and worked)

I already Updated firmware to the latest one, updated driver and softwares to the latest ones, reseted Macbook and Imac, reseted the promisse unit, changed thunderbolt cables in many orders.

I'm still seeing the unit through Promisse Utility.

I'm still seeing the unit through Disk Utility but the Array apear like: "disc3s2"

See below my system sumary and print screens:

Promisse Pegasus R4 4TB 4x1TB Using RAID 5 (so i'm using 3TB for my files and 1 for the "Raid Thing")

Using a Macbook Pro late 2011 and/or Imac Mid 2011 (same thing in both cases)

OSX Yosemite 10.10.5

 What I can do?

Sorry about my english.

Hi Andre,

It looks like there is damage to the HFS+ filesystem that Disk Utility cannot fix. Generally the MAC user community suggests trying Disk Util repair several times, sometimes this will work. In my experience this did not help but it is worth a try. Somehow my MACbook's boot filesystem developed a problem a lot like yours. But when Disk Util cannot repair the filesystem, the suggestion then is a program named DiskWarrior. Unfortunatly it is not freeware and there is no trial version available. But it has saved the day for many users.

Regards,
