HELP! I just ran into a situation where we had a failed drive, slot 12, of a RAID5 array with 4 disks. I asked for the drive to be replaced and the person replacing the drive pulled 11 instead of 12 which marked disk 11 as DEAD and took the LD offline. Is there any way to recover from this?

Hi Garabed,

We have to check the logs before we could suggest you the next step.

Please register yourself as a user @ https://support.promise.com/ and open a web support case with the latest subsystem report.

We will take it forward.

Thanks !

Hi Garabed,

Since the removal of disk 11 put the array off-line, the data present on that disk is still synched with the rest of the array, so you can force disk 11 back on-line.
