Hi, when I connect an external hard drive via usb to my NS2600 and I do a backup or a data synchronization the cpu consumption goes up to 100% and I have to restart the nas but I can not barely access it.

Hi,
Can you please let us know if the CPU consumption is high only when the External Hard drive is used ?
Check the event logs to see if there are any other recent events affecting the unit and let us know.

Could you please confirm the OS that you are using. Also, is it happening for all kind of files or just when you copy large files?

Hello, it's OS is windows 10, but I do it via internet explorer. I'm not sure if the problem is when copying files large or small. Thank you.

Hi Ginés,
Could you please copy the same file to local desktop (Windows internal hard drive) and check if still, CPU consumption remains same or you could find any difference. Please take the screenshot and attach to the forum. Could you please help me with the unit firmware version.
Windows 10 is not support with Smartstor NS2600N. Please find the below link refers to compatibility list
