Pegasus2 Can't mount Pegasus2 R6 on M4 with OS 15.5 (24F74)
Frank Bosma posted this 2 hours ago

Hi Jan,

you can check the status of the installed DEXT driver in terminal.

Open a terminal window
Type: systemextensionsctl list | grep promise

Outcome should read [activated enabled]  for driver 21.1.0

If not, check the driver extensions in your Mac's system settings:
General > Login and Extensions > Driver Extensions > click the 'i' symbol on the right.

Here you can enable the Pegasus DEXT driver installer if necessary.

Pegasus3 Promise Pegasus3 - not mounting on Modern Mac?
Florentin Constancias posted this 3 weeks ago

Thanks for your inputs.

I have just tested the 3 USBc/TB4 ports on my current Apple M4 - OS 15.3.1 (24D70) and I can't mount the drive properly on any of the ports.

I can explore the directories for a few seconds:

and then everything freezes and finaly I have this message after a few minutes.

I had tested it on 3 different silicon Macs and it has been always this issue...

In this case you can simply start a rebuild on the 'dead' disk, either via the array or background activities section in the Promise Utility.

Yep thanks but I would like to be able to mount it/ use it on my current computer first !

Any other idea or solutions?

Best,

Florentin
