Hi I want to order two of your Promise Technology 2TB SATA Hard Drive today, but BH photo will be closed. I live in SF bay areas, do you have store open today and closed to me? Fry's or any referece?

how to format/initialize the hard drives for Pegasus 2 R4?

I have a Pegasus 2 R4 three years. and it was really good. I like it.

But last week I had two bad hard disk and spend $3000 to do the recovery. It was my fault, because I only use three drives to work, because I did wrong format/initialize the drives in the very beginning.

Now I have two old drives are good, and I just purchase two new hard drives from BH.

My question is: how to do a professional format/initialize the hard drives. need instructions step by step.

Good day to all

I have this PCI SATA controller for a long time now and it is (was) working flawlessly until today in a Windows Home Server (WHS) environment.

Recently, I decided to move from this old OS to a more modern one and convert my WHS computer to a Windows 8.1 64bit Home Server. In this movement, I want to use the old hardware, as it was used in the WHS environment, including my Promise SATA300 TX4 Controller.

However, I am not sure if the driver I have (SATA300TX Series Windrv 1.00.0.39) is good for Windows 8.1. If not, is there any possibility to get another driver for the Win 8.1 OS?
